Description

Due to some technical issues and pesky clouds, I was only able to salvage 10 out of 16, three hundred second images of this beautiful Flocculant Spiral Galaxy.  This galaxy is approximately 46 million light years away in the constellation of Ursa Major.  I am using a new mount, the Ioptron HEM44EC, with my new Celestron C8, so this was the first time I was imaging at the full 2032mm FL of this setup.  Had some minor guiding issues but I think for a first light on a new setup, not too bad!  Clear Skies
Mark
